Lisle is not as well known as some of the other fantasy authors out there, despite the fact that she’s been releasing quality fantasy novels for almost two decades. Her work always features strong and sensible heroines. Romance is always a central plot to her books. Her worlds are always well constructed. And there’s always a lot of political scheming going on.If you like Holly Lisle’s style, definitely read her other series for more of the same.
