Imaro, a warrior of the Ilyassai, has settled into a life as a husband and father in Cush when a tragedy sends him on a quest for revenge against Bohu, a faceless sorcerer known as the Bringer of Sorrow.
The balance between Cush, the land of good, and Naama, the land of evil, has been disturbed, and the gods may be driven into a war of their own. Imaro travels the length of the continent in pursuit of Bohu, and learns who he is. The third Imaro book by Charles R. Saunders.
