We share the adventure as he develops his powers, the sadness when his father dies, and the excitement as he begins his new career as a reporter in Metropolis.Why it's on the listThis novel is full of exciting action, yet it is also meaningful because it lets the reader know what is going on in Clark's head during all this. The novel is very dated but well written based on the standards of the time.Without doubt this is best Superman book ever written. Clark Kent, and Superman, is a timeless, classic hero.
