Pretenders to the Throne of God

A city is under siege by the Palleseen, a powerful army whose attack has stalled while it waits for reinforcements. Within the walls, the defenders, the citizens and some former Palleseen soldiers sworn to two cults hold on, each seeing the siege from a different place.
