Daniel Abraham is an American author known for his works in the science fiction and fantasy genres. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1969.Abraham's most notable works include the "Long Price Quartet" series, which is set in a world inspired by East Asian cultures and explores themes of identity, power, and responsibility. He is also known for his "Dagger and the Coin" series, which follows a group of characters as they navigate political intrigue and economic upheaval in a world on the brink of war.Abraham is also a collaborator with George R.R. Martin on the "Wild Cards" series, a shared-world anthology featuring superheroes and villains.Abraham's writing is known for its intricate world-building, complex characters, and thought-provoking themes. He has won several awards for his writing, including the Hugo Award and the Locus Award.In addition to his writing, Abraham is also a writer and producer for television and film.
