A River Enchanted

Jack Tamerlaine left the island of Cadence ten years ago to train as a bard. Now he is called back to the home he hoped to leave behind, where young girls are disappearing. His childhood rival, Adaira, needs his help to find them, and the search forces the two to work together to calm the spirits of earth, fire, water and air, at a cost Jack may not be able to pay.

The first book of the Elements of Cadence duology, a Scottish-inspired mythic fantasy.
