Leiber, Fritz Biography

Fritz Leiber was an American author of fantasy, horror, and science fiction. He was born on December 24, 1910, in Chicago, Illinois, and died on September 5, 1992. Leiber is best known for his series of novels and stories featuring Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, two wandering swordsmen and thieves who live in the fictional world of Nehwon.Leiber began his writing career in the 1930s and became one of the leading figures of the science fiction and fantasy genres in the 1940s and 1950s. He won numerous awards throughout his career, including multiple Hugo and Nebula Awards.
